2014

Its been awhile, since ringing in the new year I've been running around like crazy.
I quit my job, but thats a whole other story that I dont even want to get into again.
I'm taking this time off of work to relax and experience and give myself time to fall in love with stupid little things again.
One week I went to Savannah with a couple of friends and it was such a beautiful day
We spent time in forsyth park and met a man who has been to 20 different states since January with his pet cat that kind of just chills out on his shoulders. And we went into some of our favorite shops and got way too cold so made the short trip home.

2014 is bringing some great adventures and ideas and revelations. What I'm most excited about now is New York on the 17th for a week and whatever else this year wants to throw at me.

Lately..

If I could photograph everything with my eyes, I would have so many more stories and love notes to write about my life as of lately. I am so completely happy with where I am. I am at a place of peace that I never knew could exist. Although it's taken a lot of heartache and deliberate mental punches to my face, I'm happy to be here. I feel as though I can do everything I've always wanted to.

I wrote a short post on leaving my ex boyfriend. It was so very hard to do. I had so many emotional ties to him. I was dependent on him financially, I had no idea how I was able to get by after him. I needed to leave him though. I felt worthless and numb when I was with him. I wasn't allowed to be 20, I had no room to grow as a person. I left him in May, and since then,I've been getting closer to the friends who had always been there since I met them. I've done so much in just a few short months.
My favorite boys, Eldred and Diggie and I took a trip to Savannah, we explored as much as we could in just one day. We spent so much on Savannah bee company honey and Tea from the Tea room. I really wanted to go into the Paris Market, but it was closed by the time we got there. Next time!
I've gone a few counties over with the same two people and explore Glenn st Mary Nursery. We stayed there a few nights, I saved a turtle, saw deer, rabbits and beautiful old buildings. I was able to breathe fully for the first time out there.
I've gone to Big Talbot Island with Diggie and we climbed on all of the fallen trees, held baby hermit crabs and just basked in the sun all day until we went back into town and got candy from a local shop called, Sweet Pete's.
I couldn't ask for a better summer. I'm blessed and in love with all of the wonderful things that have come into my life.

Happy August, Y'all.

A few weekends ago Jonathan and I took a much needed road trip away. We wanted to spend some time in Savannah, but all the hotels there were completely booked. So instead we decided to explore a new city just a hour away. Charleston, South Carolina.
It was so beautiful and bright and the weather was perfect.
Enjoy the little peaks on our weekend there.
During our second day of exploring we stopped into this little coffee shop, The Bake Shop. It was so quaint and it was a wonderful place to relax after walking so much.
For Brunch we stopped in Magnolias, it was the best southern food ever. I had banana pudding stuffed french toast with maple bacon and he had tilapia.
And on our way back home we decided to make a pit stop in Savannah. It was beautiful, as always. And we dressed up and played around in the antique stores, per usual.
It was a beautiful weekend with my love and I could not have been happier to spend the last few days of "Winter" there with him.

Merry Happy

Hello blog that I'm rarely ever on, and that no one ever sees. Today I feel inspired and happy and ready to create. But, I haven't created anything lately so enjoy these recent happy times, nobody!

a few weekends ago, Jonathan and I took a trip up to Savannah, Georgia. We explored the city and ended up staying two nights in that wonderful city. It was beautiful, I loved it and never wanted to go back home. But we have families and I have cats, so we couldn't.

And while we were walking around the city we came across an apartment complex, and a man that lived there gave us a tour of it and his apartment. It was a dream.
